Our Principal Lawyer and Director, Gabrielle Hirsch, is an experienced General Counsel and IP commercialisation lawyer, with over 15 years’ experience in law firms and in-house, including at global law firm, DLA Piper, and as General Counsel of the Florey Institute, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute, WEHI and Senior Commercialisation Lawyer at Monash University.

Gabrielle graduated from Monash University with a LLB (Hons) and BSc (Hons) (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology). She has a Master of Laws (Health Law & Intellectual Property) from Melbourne University and is a registered Trade Marks Attorney and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Gabrielle is passionate about the life sciences sector and helping innovative clients to achieve their strategic goals by providing practical and strategic legal advice and win-win solutions. In her spare time, Gabrielle loves to travel, learn new languages and dabbles in interior design. She’s currently restoring and decorating a tiny caravan.
